Welcome to Happy Aircon! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Happy Aircon mobile application and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. Definitions

  • "Service" refers to the air conditioning maintenance, repair, installation, and cleaning services booked through the App.
  • "App" refers to the Happy Aircon mobile application.
  • "User" or "You" refers to any individual or entity using the App to book Services.
  • "Technician" refers to the employees or authorized personnel of Happy Aircon assigned to perform the Service.

2. Service Booking and Scheduling

2.1. Booking Requests: All bookings are subject to technician availability. We do not guarantee immediate availability of technicians at all times.

2.2. Confirmation: A booking is considered confirmed only when you receive a confirmation notification via the App or email.

2.3. Rescheduling: You may reschedule your booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled time without penalty. Rescheduling within 24 hours may be subject to a rescheduling fee.

2.4. Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide accurate and complete information regarding the service location and the condition of your air conditioning unit(s).

3. Pricing and Payment

3.1. Rates: Service rates are displayed in the App before you confirm your booking. Prices may vary based on the type of service, unit type, and location.

3.2. Additional Charges: Additional charges may apply for parts replacement, refrigerant refill (freon), or extensive repairs not covered by the standard service fee. Technicians will inform you of any additional costs before proceeding.

3.3. Payment Methods: We accept payments through the methods available in the App (e.g., credit/debit cards, e-wallets via Paymongo). Cash payments may be available at our discretion.

3.4. Refunds: Refunds are processed in accordance with our Refund Policy. Generally, refunds are only issued for services not rendered or for valid service quality complaints verified by our support team.

4. Cancellations

4.1. User Cancellation: You may cancel your booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time may incur a cancellation fee.

4.2. Provider Cancellation: We reserve the right to cancel any booking due to technician unavailability, safety concerns, or force majeure events. In such cases, a full refund or free rescheduling will be offered.

5. User Responsibilities

5.1. Access: You must provide safe and reasonable access to the premises and the air conditioning units for the Technician to perform the Service.

5.2. Safety: You must ensure that the work area is safe and free from hazards. You agree to secure any pets or valuables prior to the Technician's arrival.

5.3. Conduct: You agree to treat Technicians with respect and courtesy. We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, abuse, or discrimination.

6. Service Warranty and Liability

6.1. Service Warranty: We provide a service warranty of 30 days for cleaning services and 90 days for repair workmanship. This warranty covers the specific service performed and does not cover unrelated issues or pre-existing defects.

6.2. Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Happy Aircon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

6.3. Damage to Property: While we exercise utmost care, Happy Aircon is not liable for minor cosmetic damages (e.g., scratches) that may occur during the normal course of service, nor for damages resulting from pre-existing structural defects or worn-out parts.

7. Intellectual Property

The Happy Aircon App, including its design, logo, content, and software, is the exclusive property of Happy Aircon and its licensors. You agree not to copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our intellectual property.

8. Privacy

Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your personal information.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on the App. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be settled in the courts of Biñan, Laguna, or the appropriate courts in the Philippines.
